LUNCHTIME TALK BY AUCTIONEER PHILIP TAUBENHEIM
Philip is managing director, senior auctioneer, valuer and cataloguer at Wotton Auction Rooms, Wotton-under-Edge, and his entertaining talk will give an insight into the day-to-day running of a busy country auction room.
He has spent all his working life in the world of antiques and auctions - his parents were book dealers from Burford in Oxfordshire, so even school holidays were often spent at sales.
Away from the business, he is a contributor to BBC One’s Antiques Roadshow, while the channel’s Antiques Road Trip and other well-known TV programmes film at the Wotton sale rooms.
